Dual! Saga

it's also by pioneer.

i like watching it because of when it was made.

that and it's SOOO good...the story is a lot like neongenesis evangelion, if you can imagine that story with a LOT more funny parts, it's no where near as dark and scary, with "angels" and what not.   but it's serious, it's a giant mecha anime and it's by pioneer.

so you get a story with a whole buncha females under one roof all vying for the same hapless one young kid's attention. he barely knows what to do, and that's almost always funny.

in the case of Parallel Dual!  Trouble Adventure there is alot of the same frustration/jealousy/bellylaughter that comes from..."a whole buncha females under one roof all vying for the same hapless one young kid's attention..."  But it's not over the top, like Ayeka/Ryoko destroying most of the house over and over again...

I was inspired to write by the Tenchi stories because of how painful and stupid all that fighting over one boy was, yet how funny. I know jealous morons in real life and the evil, stupid crap that they do to try and make other people jealous, to use their posessive jealousy to make other people, themselves miserable -- well, it's just more real than giant robots or extraterrestrial chicks with magic blast powers.  which is why the Tenchi series was so popular.

The multiverse (or meta-universe, metaverse) is the hypothetical set of multiple possible universes (including our universe) that together comprise everything that physically exists: the entirety of space and time, all forms of matter, energy and momentum, and the physical laws and constants that govern them. The term was coined in 1895 by the American philosopher and psychologist William James.[1] The various universes within the multiverse are sometimes called parallel universes.

The structure of the multiverse, the nature of each universe within it and the relationship between the various constituent universes, depend on the specific multiverse hypothesis considered. Multiverses have been hypothesized in cosmology, physics, astronomy, philosophy, transpersonal psychology and fiction, particularly in science fiction and fantasy. In these contexts, parallel universes are also called "alternative universes", "quantum universes", "interpenetrating dimensions", "parallel dimensions", "parallel worlds", "alternative realities", and "alternative timelines", among others.
